Our MD out at play again on the Per Ardua Ad Infinitum rally in December 2020 with navigator Kelvin Phipps in the left hand seat. Seeded 91st, don’t know who they must have upset to be that far down, they ended up finishing 26th overall and Kelvin won the Rally Newcomer Navigator Award.

Barringtons photos, taken in a 2010 trip to Canada by our MD Phil Wood.

Seen by our MD on his travels in Florida recently - if only it were ours ....

Our MD Phil Wood with Martin Phaff in the Navigator's chair on a test at
Wern Ddu Quarry on the 2019 Vale of Clwyd Classic, the last round of the
HRCR Clubman's Championship. (@ 4mins 20 secs - although it is worth
watching the clip of the Bentley immediately before as well!) Phil finished
second in his class in the Championship this year so moves up to the Expert
class next year.

Our Tax Manager, Peter Rossiter, snapped this whilst watching the Open at
Royal Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland

Some of the team entertaining clients and contacts at the Newport Show

A former employee, Kathryn Cooper, Kat to us, who was poached by Xero (YES
she is that good) obviously hasn't forgotten us and posted this picture on
Facebook today:

Our MD Phil Wood and his navigator Iain Miller of Cameron Rose in Newcastle
having fun, and getting FTD, on a test at Market Drayton Cattle Market, run
by Barringtons client Bernie Hutchinson, as part of the HRCR Classic 35
rally today.

Our MD, Phil Wood, and his Navigator Iain Miller of Cameron rose Associates
out on the 2019 Tour of Cheshire HRCR round, this time having fun on the
rally stage at Oulton Park

The word is spreading - they've even named a street after us in Palm Desert,
California - so we'll forgive them the spelling mistake!

Our business support team manager has been off on her international travels again, this time over the border to check out the situation in Edinburgh

Our MD Phil Wood with Iain Miller of Cameron Rose in the passenger seat on one of the Tests on the Tour of Cheshire rally on Saturday

Darren and Ben have been on their travels again, this time to Cork in Eire
as part of another client's audit - and it looks like they enjoyed the Craic
as well as the Guinness whilst there!

An old friend and former client of the firm, John Langley of Nowell Mellor
solicitors in Stafford spotted an interesting article in an old edition of
'Motor Sport' magazine - relating to a car known as "The Barrington". Here
is a link to the piece: https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/article/july-1980/55/fragments-forgotten-makes

We also reproduce it below. Whatever happened to it remains
shrouded in the mists of time ... unless you know otherwise? (A bottle of
something fizzy may well be available for more information on the
whereabouts of the remains acquired by David Filsell in 1972!)

Jennifer West, from our Payroll Team, with her son Harley in his football team’s new strip, sponsored by Barringtons. #puttingbackinthecommunity.

And here is the team resplendent in their new Barringtons strip...

Barringtons around the world – this one is a golf academy in the Algarve, and no this is not where we spend most of our time!

One from the Archives, our MD Phil Wood on holiday in Bermuda but never missing a chance to promote the firm in his Barringtons tee shirt, outside “Barringtons Investments Ltd” in Hamilton – and no, we haven’t opened an offshore office!

"Avec l'amour de Paris"
Ben Lack, one of our super star team members, has shared with us this picture taken on an evening off during his audit of a client's French subsidiary.

Our MD, Phil Wood, is passionate about motorsport and is competing in the Historic Rally Car Register Clubmans Championship (he is currently 13th overall and third in class having won the runners up award in the Novice class for pre 1968 vehicles in his 1964 Volvo P1800 last year). Here are some photos of Phil and Iain Miller, his navigator on one of the tests on the Hughes Rally in Kent on 2 June this year.
